Professor Gets Tooted While Trying to Toot her own Horn!

    Two weeks into the semester and its already been crazy eventful. These professors get crazier and crazier every semester. Being very optimistic this semester lets see how long that last.
    Really looking forward to my "Writing for Media" class this semester.This professor seems like she is going to be a piece of work.Now I  was forwarned last semester when discussing my schedule with some fellow classmates. They said "oh no.she's crazy", "she's really straight forward and harsh" and the ultimate "oh God! Change ya class immediately she's a bitch! ". Even with all those warnings I stuck to it. Plus you know I love a challenge.
     So of course I walked into the first day with said "Professor from Hell" prepared for it all.  Besides I'm the queen of come backs and my mouth is slicker than a can of oil. Her first brutal blow was not to me but I must say it was very brutal.
     As normal she starts off with going over the syllabus. She advises us the book is required, no ifs ands or buts.A fellow classmate makes a suggestion or should I say she inquired about opting out from purchasing the actual book but an electronic copy.The way she aligned her question would seem quite understandable to some.She simply stated, "Professor what if you can't afford the book and want to get the electronic version as its cheaper ?"
You'd expect a simple "that's fine" or maybe even an "OK".Too bad that's not what the poor girl received as a response.
    The poor girl was merely cut off with the response of "the book is mandatory get the book".When the young lady attempted to defend her suggestion with a, "but what if u can't afford itt?". She was hit with another harsh come back of ,"I'm not getting into what u can or cannot afford just buy the book".So you can imagine by now my brow is raised and I'm all in. Think that's crazy? Oh it gets better.
     This professor goes on praising herself in attempt to convince us how lucky we are to have such a well rounded worldly professor. Of course I'm not impressed.Oh,but it gets better. In her attempt to give her self praise she goes into how well her students are because of her. She even went as far as saying, "All students go far.All Essex students think of is Rutgers or Montclair.But my students think of Princeton ,Harvard ivy league schools".
(Brow Raised) She really struck a nerve with that one.
"Uh no you will not insult the intelligence and ambition of myself nor my fellow peers.How dare you place those shackles on the brains of students at Essex?You will not say all students do not dream or have ambition of a better education,not in front of me YOU WILL NOT! Professor or not, that blanket statement will not be allowed in my presence.You may say some, but you will not say all.That's a stereotype and as an educator you should be ashamed to utter such ignorance.And that is all."  (Drops mic)
    How dare she?I don't know how she felt comfortable to spesk such stupidity. Lets not be negative,maybe she was having a brain fart n that's the best she came up wit, who knows? But hopefully my response will leave her to think before she speaks.
