FUNK !

A person can have it all 

Yet feel like they have nothing

People believe depression is unreal 

Until they take a look in the mirror 

And depression is staring back at them

And becomes really something they feel

Great job 

No debt

Own place 

Everything seems so set 

On the outside it's all smiles 

Inside their mind is screaming "I want to end end"

Their mind saying "Not just yet"  

Their cries fall on death ears 

As their mouths remain Mute 

It invades their mind 

Leaving them to believe 

That no one really cares 

No one to talk to

No one to listen 

Sitting alone in a dark room 

With thoughtless thoughts and empty stares 

Open up your heart 

Let those words flow through your mouth 

Let my words pierce your ears 

Even when the going gets rough 

There is always some one you least  expect 

Who is truly there and honestly cares

Think before u quit 

Let the life u breathe 

Be your light 

And if you get down 

Feel like depression is winning 

Stand up look in the mirror 

If  today's not a good day 

Be happy think bright 

Open your eyes and Realize 

You  still are blessed with the rest of your Life
