3 arrest made in connection with the viral video

Earlier this week we bought you guys the story about the heinous "Whipping" video sweeping the nation. We also released a statement from a Newark native rapper by the name of Riq Bubz dismissing his involvement. Well some arrest were made Tuesday. All suspects are in police custody at the moment.

 The ring Leader as authorities named him is 22 year old Ahmad Holt. Ahmad who carried out the attack in fact was already in custody at an institution in Trenton when the video was released.

The Second suspect is Raheem Clark 31. He Provided the belt to beat the victim.

The third suspect is 23 year old Jamaar Gray. He is the comical cameraman that request the victim to look into the camera and repeat "Its a Dog eat Dog world". Through out the video you can hear him laughing and witness him throwing water on the naked victim who looks on confused and afraid.

They also arrested Nicole Smith, 25, who had apparently been walking into a an address believed to be Grays at the moment. She was charged with possession of 20 bricks of heroin.

All three attackers face felony robbery and assault charges.  They could face up to 30 years in prison each if found guilty of the crimes.  Acting Essex County District Attorney Carolyn Murray told PIX11 News that more charges against the trio, regarding their misuse of the Internet, may be pending.  Some of those additional charges may be filed at a federal level.
