                Youthful, energetic, personable, authentic, along with a strong odor of marijuana, might just be the best way to describe yUNG! Born in Paterson, NJ, raised in Passaic, NJ he always had a passion for music since the age of 4. As his life progressed basketball seem to be the right direction to go in due to his height and athletic abilities. When you have a passion for something it overpowers everything! By the age of 14 there was nothing but poetry and rhymes written on all of his school notebooks. Recorded his first record at the  age of 15 and received recognition for being unique a time where  everyone sounded the same. Recording was the glue that stuck him to music forever! yUNG wants to give the world music they can relate to, dance to, feel, and of course smoke to!         The infamous Video "whipped and slapped" that has been making national headlines may be causing some friction for one of Newark's top artist. The video was released on an urban media site a couple weeks ago and who ever submitted the video claimed to be members of the well known SRT10MG  group out of  Newark.                 We spoke to one of Riq's rep earlier today and they stated, " Riq Bubz nor any one else affiliated with #400Block or #Srt10MG have any involvement in that  heinous video." It is believed the perpetrators may even be trying to use the video to defame the thriving artist. He recently did a video for the song "G-Code" with recording artist Wacka-Flacka located on the very streets of Newark. Physician Mae C. Jemison was born October 17, 1956, in Decatur, Alabama. On June 4, 1987, she became the first African-American woman ever admitted into the astronaut training program.
