Love and HipHop 1/28

         Surprisingly this show is still on the air. The producers did a horrible job this year when casting. None of the cast cross paths as much as they need to and when they do its awkward and seems very forced. When the series first aired 2/3 years ago it was about a group of individuals who all ran within the same circle. Now it seems that they just picked industry folk who may have heard of the others and put them all on a show together. That doesn't work when you want a show POP!
    
 Lets get in to last night's episode.........

       Yandy held nothing back from the viewers . She really opened up and let the viewers get a glimpse of the real Yandy, Mommy Yandy. Her son Amur had to receive surgery on is urinary tract and his kidneys and she allowed the cameras to be with her every step of the way. Viewers saw a bare faced Yandy drenched with pure emotion. It was a real good look for the ,"I'm about my paper" screaming go getter that we're use to seeing. Her bf Mandeecees on the other hand was so emotionless it was disheartening. How can a father hear that his son has to get surgery and now feel some type of way. He was straight faced the entire time. Some may say that he was just being strong for the both of them, but even the strongest of men shed a tear once.  The baby boy made it safely through his surgery. Their relationship seems so forced. Yandy is in it 100% and it seems that Mandeecee is just there for the ride. We have to stay tuned to see where these two end up.
   
             As far as the other cast members go, its not much we can say. Jen is still crying wanting Kayden ( her and Con's son) to be Muslim and a  christian At The Same Damn Time. Tahiry and Joe Budden are still in love with each and are trying their best to hide it with a make shift friendship. Rashidah Ali showed her face and called Raqi out on being industry pussy. Raqi is now a DJ. Olivia and Erica Mena are still arguing over Rich Dollaz while neither of them have a record on the radio or anywhere else.
That's pretty much it about the poorly produced Love and Hip Hop New York.

        The infamous Video "whipped and slapped" that has been making national headlines may be causing some friction for one of Newark's top artist. The video was released on an urban media site a couple weeks ago and who ever submitted the video claimed to be members of the well known SRT10MG  group out of  Newark.                 We spoke to one of Riq's rep earlier today and they stated, " Riq Bubz nor any one else affiliated with #400Block or #Srt10MG have any involvement in that  heinous video." It is believed the perpetrators may even be trying to use the video to defame the thriving artist. He recently did a video for the song "G-Code" with recording artist Wacka-Flacka located on the very streets of Newark.
